Thoroughbred Horse Racing - On the Far Turn

The horse race handicapper knows that before the horses head for home, they must encounter the far turn ... a very decisive moment of the race.

The far turn is the stage of the race where most horses make their decisive winning or reluctant losing moves.

A horse race handicapper who is focused and 'in the game', knows that the final turn is very important in deciding who makes it to the Winner's Circle. They will observe which horse saves and which horse loses ground in 2 critical places in the turn.

Pay particular attention to when the horses reach the midpoint of the turn, and as they fan out at the end of the turn transitioning to the stretch run. Key in on the horses that make the bold, decisive, and winning moves. If they do it in one race, with good results, they will probably do it again in future races.

Fact: Only 2% of all horse race handicappers actually make money wagering.
